      Compare and contrast is a difficult thing when its between old animation and new present day animation. Some people might find it dull if you don't keep the written material, that you have provided for the reader, full of unknown fact that draw the mind of the reader to want to keep on reading.
1800s had to physically draw each frame now with technology we made things drastically easier. Computers now reconstruct the image as many times as you need to as many frames!
